CHILI COOK OFF
Sunday, Oct. 25 after the 11:00 a.m. service
Think your chili has what it takes? Put your chili-making skills to the test on October 25, after the 11:00 a.m. service for our annual Chili Cook Off! You can enter one of three categories: red, white, or spicy. Register your chili by signing up at the Welcome Table or scan the QR code. Please bring your chili, serving spoon(s), and any other toppings you want to serve. Drop off your chili to the Café before or after the 9:15 a.m. service. Small cups to serve your chili will be provided.
LEADERSHIP COMMUNITY MEETING

Our next Leadership Community meeting is Monday, Oct. 19, with a potluck starting at 6:00 p.m. If you are on any ministry team at City Life, this night is for you! Your team leader has info for you.
FALL LIFE GROUPS
Fall Life Groups have begun!
There is still time for you to jump in to a group that will help you grow deeper in your walk with Jesus and build relationships. You can sign up on the wall by the Cafe, on the Life Groups page, or by scanning the QR code. Life Groups run Oct.- Dec. 15. “The Purple Book” Life Group and Adventure Club start Oct. 14!
BANDS
Bands are small groups of 3–4 people meeting regularly for real accountability, encouragement, and confession.

Oct. 11 is a live action “Who Dunnit” night!
Youth in 6th-12th grade... You won’t want to miss this mysterious evening of dinner and meeting some interesting characters. Pick up a youth calendar on the Welcome Table to see all that's coming up this fall. City Life Youth will officially kick off on Sunday, Oct 18 at 5:30 p.m.-7:30 p.m. Plan to BE THERE & BRING A FRIEND!
CLUB 56
Club 56 is a new ministry area that meets during the 9:15 a.m. service in the youth room.
It will have a very different feel from other Kid City classrooms. It will specifically create an environment where pre-teens can grow in their faith, ask honest questions, build relationships, and take meaningful steps toward following Jesus. Sixth graders are encouraged to be part of both Club 56 on Sunday mornings and Youth Group on Sunday nights.
ADVENTURE CLUB ASSISTANT JOB OPENINGS
Kid City is seeking to hire two to three assistants for Adventure club on Wednesday nights this year.

City Life parents! The youth are raising funds to attend FOLLOW 2026 in December, and they are offering 2 Friday nights where you can drop off your kids in Kid City while you go out! If you need to get your yard ready for winter or have any other projects, they are willing! Dates are Oct. 17, Oct. 24, and Oct. 31. Costs range from $50-$300. CHRISTMAS COMMUNITY SWAP & SHOP

This event is an effort to take some of the costs out of the holiday season and to build community around something everyone has already— stuff they don’t need. Children’s toys, room decor, art supplies, books, bedding and clothing will be accepted. Adult items will NOT be accepted. Please ensure all items are in good shape. Clothing must be sorted by gender and size. You can start bringing your items to City Life on October 17. We look forward to a fun day of free shopping, free lattes, and holiday fun! Every Monday, City Life Church continues to welcome nearly 90 neighbors through our First Neighbors Shower Outreach. More than a meal or a shower, this ministry is about building relationships, restoring dignity, and helping people take meaningful next steps toward stability. Thank you to the many volunteers and partners who make this ministry possible each week.
MONARCH Immigration Legal Services
Citizenship Classes and the English Conversation Café
We’re excited to prepare for our second cohort of Citizenship Classes and English Conversation Café, both running for 9 weeks beginning the first week of May!
Citizenship classes will be offered Saturday and Tuesday mornings from 9:00 a.m.–10:30 a.m., followed by English Conversation Café from 10:30 a.m.–11:30 a.m. We will also offer a virtual evening citizenship class on Wednesdays from 7:00 p.m.–8:00 p.m. If you’d like to register for citizenship classes, information can be found on our website: monarchimmigration.org. No registration is required for English Conversation Café.
We are currently in need of two volunteers to teach the Saturday morning citizenship class, as well as volunteers for conversation partners for both Tuesday and Saturday English Conversation Café.

City Life has a partnership with Pine Rest CAP. All of these benefits are completely confidential and available at no cost to you. The services are for City Lifers and the family members who live in their households.
